Fashion at the 2011 Korean Style Icon Awards

The Style Icon Awards lived up to its name as A-list Korean celebs attended the event in their most stylish outfits.  And if you've been following my blog for a while, you'll notice that Koreans love wearing black, so prepare for a sea of darkness...

The SNSD girls coordinated with black and gold outfits for a more mature look
Kim Jung Min showed up in a gray metallic dress with lace capped sleeves and paired it with sparkling peep toe ankle booties
Go So Young sparkly angled skirt may have been a cm away from a wardrobe malfunction
Choi Yeo Jin sticks to her usual style with a textured jacket and maxi skirt
Han Geu Ru chose a sweet LBD with a deep-v and black pumps to match
IU chose a pearlized black dress with a large ruffle floral on the skirt
Lee Eun Woo kept it subtly sexy with a deep-v dress featuring a high slit
Park Jin Joo also chose to wear a sweet LBD featuring cutouts on the shoulders
Gong Hyun Joo still managed to stand out staying covered up in this long sleeved sequined dress
Lee Young Jin was the only one to don lace to the event
Seo In Young in a classic LBD with a tiered ruffle skirt
Kim Na Young looked like a shaved poodle in this blue dress with fur sleeves
Cha Yae Ryun kept it elegant and simple in this navy colored gown
Lee Seung Yeon gave her assymetrical gray dress an edgier look with a leather jacket and chunky heels
Narsha's dress is like an optical illusion, just don't stare at it for too long
Lee Young Ah was a knockout in this turquoise one shouldered gown
Park Jung Hyun stood out from all the black in this bright green halter dress
Nam Gyu Ri looked prom ready in this sweet pink satin dress
Shin Se Kyung sparkled in this pink strapless paillette dress
Cho Yeo Jung's cream dress featured sexy cutouts and sparkling embellishments
Park Young Lin looked ready for swan lake more than a red carpet event

Which dress caught your eye? Leave me a comment below!

Fashion at TVB 2012 Sales Presentation

Last night Hong Kong's #1 television network TVB held their annual sales presentation previewing trailers for their 2012 dramas.  The networks stars all glammed up for the event and the leading ladies aka 'fa dans' battled it out for the sexiest cleave of the night. Who do you think won the battle of the deep-v?
Fala Chen, in my opinion looked the best without being too revealing in this gray  leopard printed dress
Myolie Wu's dress was great on top but tragic on the bottom; the fringe ruined it for me but she still looked great in it
Tracy Ip may not be getting major roles but she sure was trying to get there with her deep-v floral applique dress
Aimee Chan is always a fan of darker colors so it was no surprise she chose a metallic gunmetal dress, unfortunately the ruching in the middle is created a 'baby bump' looking situation
Samantha Ko says her stylist chose this blue tiered satin dress for her because it matches her 'personality,' yea I'm sure that's exactly why he picked that out for you...
Sharon Chan shows some leg in this high slit purple dress, also looks like homegirl got some sponsored jewelry on; blingin'!
Olympian turned actress Liu Xuan was the only girl not willing to show any skin (you go girl!) and kept it simple with a black ensemble and fitted blazer

Tavia Yeung shimmered in this silver gray dress
Katy Kung looked a bit uncomfortable posing with her rumored beau, or maybe it was just her dress being too short..
Vivien Yeo, unlike the other starletts, kept the deep-v for her back in this old hollywood style white dress
Koni Liu's Egyptian inspired gown was simple but figure flattering
Linda Chung is Hong Kong's sweetheart, always the nice girl next door, she chose a blue pastel dress that elongated her already mile high legs
JJ Jia is usually a major competitor in the battle of the sexiest but she was quite subdued in this pink tiered strapless dress
Nancy Wu's bubblegum pink dress may have been eyecatching but for the wrong reasons
I think Kate Tsui looked a bit matronly and Christmas-y in this dark green velvet dress with a scoopneck and bow accent. Sidenote: I'm really liking all the blazers she wears in Forensic Heroes 3! ;P

Award Show Fashion: 46th Taiwan Golden Bell Award

The 46th Golden Bell Awards aka Taiwan's version of the Emmy's brought the best in television together for a fancy night out.  I must say I was very impressed this time around.
The usually tomboyish Ella (from girl group S.H.E) looked feminine and stunning in this royal purple dress, held up by a thick gold chain.
A very pregnant Amanda Zhu was glowing in this gorgeous red one shouldered gown
Kimi Xia looked ready to walk down an aisle more than red carpet but still pulled off the look nicely in this white lace applique dress
Ji Pei Hui slicked back her hair to put focus on her sheer modern day qi pao
Sonia Sui showed a little more than leg on the red carpet in this high slit black dress..I guess it's a good thing she waxed -_-
Teng Xin was the big winner of the night, although the same could not be said about her dress, kind of makes her look like she has a third boob...
Xiong Jia Jie also chose a black satin dress but with a peep of fuschia
Megan Lai took the safe route and opted for a simple black strapless dress
TV host Matilda Tao matched her shoes to her light brown strapless dress
Pink Yang  brought some texture to the mix with this one shouldered number
Amber An's halter dress looked sensational against her skin tone
Rainie Yang skipped the red carpet but worked it backstage in this navy dress paired with black leather gloves
Miss Ko stood out on the red carpet in this bright canary dress with jeweled embellishments
TV Host Janet channeled a South East Asian look for the red carpet
Penny Tseng picked a red off the shoulder dress and a messy updo to top it off
Qi Qin's red dress with a sweetheart neckline looked amazingly fitting for the occassion and her body
Li Jing's neck accessory really throws this look off, if (s)he's trying to hide her adam's apple, there are much better alternatives than a gold neck stretcher
Xiu Qin looks like a dragon lady with those gloves, did I miss the memo on gloves + evening dresses being cool again?
Cindy Yen was trying way too hard to look sexy, I much prefer a curvier girl in a bandage dress than her to be honest
Effie Yuan in a ballerina explosion, way too much going on, lose the ruffle tulle skirt and maybe it could work

Award Show Fashion: 2011 Korea Drama Awards

There is nothing I love more than a good Korean drama. One that makes you laugh and bring you the occassional tears. But mostly I can't get over how stylish everyone looks in the dramas, I mean even the girl who is supposed to be poor is wearing Marc Jacobs 0_O Unrealistic but the fashion really does add to the character. I also can't get over how amazing these leading ladies looked on the red carpet at the 2011 Korean Drama Awards!
Jeon Hye-Bin was super elegant in a black deep-v gown with a sexy lace back
Lee pa-ni chose a pink gown with pink stone embellishments

Lee Yuri's studded ankle boots gave her red ruffle dress more of an edgy vibe
Royal Family's Yeom Jung Ah decided not attract any attention with her cleave like some of the other ladies, but instead opted for a more sophisticated look in a three dimensional wrap dress.
Yi Da Hui donned a silver gray dress that featured textured straps that brought the eye up
Im Soo Hyang stepped out in a curve hugging strapless black dress with a ruffled sweetheart neckline

Choi Song Hyun also opted for a short red dress and proved that camel toes are also possible with a dress 0_O
Gong hyeon ju's black textured mini was simple yet sexy
